Give a little bit of my life for you...

Friendy gangs, stealing kisses and music addicts. Now that's my kind of crime.

Thanks to Coca Cola, the band Supertramp and my ever-astute friend Paul Cleveland (who sent this video), here is another way to view security cameras.

It's proof of something cops and prevention folks forget; For every ugly act caught live by CCTV, there are many more beautiful acts that rarely make the news.

They should.

“Give a Little Bit,” the timeless classic in this video, was written and composed by Roger Hodgson, co-founder of Supertramp. This version is a new recording from Roger and is not a Supertramp song. I saw him in concert just last month and it was amazing. What a show.

Roger wrote Give a Little Bit when he was in his teens and before he even met Rick and co-founded the band. Many people don’t realize that although Roger and Rick shared writing credit, they actually wrote and composed separately with each singing their own respective songs. Roger also gave us Breakfast in America, Take the Long Way Home, The Logical Song, Dreamer, Fool’s Overture, and more!

I saw on Roger’s Facebook page that he is already announcing tour dates for 2013. Give yourself a gift this holiday season and get tickets for a show. You’ll be so glad you did. I’ve already got tickets for two shows next year. Once you see him, you too will quickly realize that once is definitely not enough. Thanks for sharing this heartwarming video Greg, it really made my day. I especially love their use of Give a Little Bit written & sung by Roger Hodgson (although many remember it as a Supertramp recording, it was really composed by Roger, Supertramp's co-founder). I love noticing the little acts of kindness every time I re-watch this video. Why can't all moments be like these?

Thank you Rissa and Lucy.

It's always good to hear from Supertramp fans (and Roger Hodgson fans). I didn't know about the song credentials and always thought it was a Supertramp original. As far as I'm concerned, Little acts of kindness includes loyal fans who remember the credential details of a musical giant years after his song was written. Roger deserves every bit of it.
